Whether you’re getting to work, going to school or just traveling, we need robust infrastructure. Our roads either are not adequately maintained or have too much traffic. Poor infrastructure not only poses a safety threat and risks our bridges to collapse.
But it also causes frustrations while diving on the roads, and results in a lack of productivity. To ensure safety and maintain operational infrastructure, we need to build more roads to lessen traffic congestion and to have our bridges inspected periodically for deterioration and remedial actions.
I will work to support the hardening of our coastal structures and infrastructure to resist the effects of climate change while we do our part to sequester CO2 and lower our carbon footprint as a community, as a state, and as a nation. In addition, I will also support our local governments to enhancing our public transportation by having more buses and creating more bus routes to make transportation more convenient
